Himalayan Giant is a specialty food company based in Kathmandu, Nepal. We sell authentic Himalayan mad honey harvested from wild Apis laboriosa colonies in Nepal, shipped directly to customers worldwide.

Eligibility
To use our website and purchase our products, you must be at least 18 years of age. Mad honey is an adult product. It is not suitable for minors under any circumstances.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, you have read our Safety Guide and understand the nature of the product you are purchasing, you do not have any medical condition listed in our Safety Guide that would make consumption dangerous for you, and you are purchasing for personal use or as a gift for another adult who will be informed about the product and its safety requirements.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if we have reason to believe the buyer is under 18 or is purchasing for someone under 18.

Mad honey is a natural, wild product. Its color, texture, flavor, and potency vary between harvest seasons, batches, and even individual cliff faces. Ordering and Payment
When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason.
Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. This email constitutes our acceptance of your offer and forms a binding agreement between you and Himalayan Giant under these terms.
We reserve the right to cancel any order if the product is out of stock or unavailable, we are unable to verify your payment, we suspect fraudulent activity, the shipping address is in a restricted region, or there is an error in product pricing or description on our website.
If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. All prices are listed in the currency shown on the product page. By submitting your payment, you confirm that the payment method is yours or that you are authorized to use it.
All payments are processed by our third-party payment processor through a secure, encrypted connection. We do not store your full payment details. See our Privacy Policy for full details on payment processing.
Pricing
All product prices displayed on our website are in the currency indicated and include the cost of the product. Prices do not include customs duties, import taxes, or VAT that may be charged by your country’s government upon import.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you before processing the order. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
We do not offer price matching with other sellers. Our pricing reflects the true cost of responsible harvesting, fair wages paid to honey hunters, and direct trade with no middlemen.
Shipping and Delivery
All orders ship from Kathmandu, Nepal via international air freight.

Delivery times provided on our website and in order confirmation emails are estimates — not guarantees. International shipping involves multiple carriers, customs authorities, and logistical variables beyond our control.
Himalayan Giant is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance in your country, incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by you, failed delivery attempts due to your unavailability, natural disasters, extreme weather, carrier disruptions, or government actions including but not limited to customs seizures, import restrictions, or postal service disruptions.
Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery of the package to your shipping address. If tracking shows delivery but you have not received your package, follow the steps outlined on our Shipping and Delivery page.
Free Shipping Policy
We currently offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. There is no minimum order amount required for free shipping.
Free shipping applies to our standard international shipping method. Express shipping options may be available for an additional cost — contact us before ordering for express availability and pricing.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our free shipping policy at any time. Any changes to the shipping policy will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed.
Free shipping covers the cost of freight from our facility in Kathmandu to your delivery address. It does not cover customs duties, import taxes, or VAT imposed by your country’s government. These charges, if any, are your responsibility.
Customs, Duties and Import Taxes
Because our products ship internationally from Nepal, your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other charges imposed by the government of your destination country.
These charges are determined by your country’s customs authority — not by Himalayan Giant. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
All customs duties, import taxes, and related charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. They are not included in our product prices or covered by our free shipping offer.
We provide all required export documentation with every shipment, including commercial invoice, certificate of origin, product description with HS code (0409.00 — Natural Honey), and phytosanitary certificate where required.
If your package is held by customs and additional documentation is required, contact us at info@himalayangiant.com and we will provide whatever is needed within 24 hours.
Refusing a package due to unexpected customs charges does not qualify for a refund of product cost under our Returns and Refund Policy.

Refunds are not available for taste preference, subjective experience, overconsumption, buyer’s remorse, incorrect addresses provided by you, refused deliveries, or customs seizures beyond our control.

Product Safety and Dosage
Mad honey contains naturally occurring grayanotoxins (C₂₂H₃₆O₇) — compounds found in the nectar of wild Rhododendron flowers. These compounds interact with the body’s nervous system in a dose-dependent manner.
By purchasing our product, you acknowledge and agree that you have read our complete Safety Guide at himalayangiant.com/safety-guide before consuming the product for the first time, you understand that mad honey produces real physiological effects and must be consumed responsibly, you will follow the dosage guidelines provided in our Safety Guide, you understand that the recommended starting dose is one quarter teaspoon (approximately 2 to 3 grams) and the maximum dose is one tablespoon (approximately 15 grams) in any 24-hour period, you will not consume mad honey if you have any condition listed in the restrictions section of our Safety Guide, you will not combine mad honey with alcohol, sedatives, blood pressure medication, heart medication, or any substances listed in our Safety Guide interactions section, you will not drive, operate machinery, or perform activities requiring full alertness for at least 4 hours after consumption, you will not give this product to anyone under 18 years of age, you will not give this product to any animal, and you accept full responsibility for your consumption decisions and for ensuring that anyone you share this product with is informed about its nature and safety requirements.
Our Safety Guide provides dosage guidelines, what to expect, restrictions, overconsumption protocol, and emergency information. Reading it is not optional — it is a requirement of purchasing this product.
Assumption of Risk
Mad honey is a potent natural product with real physiological effects. By purchasing and consuming our product, you voluntarily assume the risks associated with its use.
You acknowledge that mad honey may cause physiological effects including but not limited to changes in blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature, alertness, and neurological function, individual responses to mad honey vary widely and are not predictable, consuming more than the recommended dose can cause adverse effects including dizziness, nausea, vomiting, dangerously low blood pressure, abnormally slow heart rate, and in extreme cases of massive overconsumption, potentially life-threatening reactions, we have provided comprehensive safety information and dosage guidelines and your decision to consume is made with informed consent, we do not guarantee any specific experience, effect, or outcome, and the absence of a specific warning about a particular risk does not mean that risk does not exist.
By purchasing our product, you accept full responsibility for your decision to consume it. You agree that Himalayan Giant has made reasonable efforts to inform you of the risks through our Safety Guide, product labeling, and this agreement.
If you are unsure whether mad honey is safe for you, consult a qualified healthcare provider before consuming. We would rather you not purchase our product than consume it in a way that could harm you.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our website or products for any unlawful purpose, to resell our products without written authorization from Himalayan Giant, to misrepresent yourself or your age when creating an account or placing an order, to provide false or misleading information in any communication with us, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our website, servers, or data, to interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website, to use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technology to access or collect data from our website without our written permission, to copy, reproduce, or redistribute our website content, images, or text without our written permission, to use our products in a manner that violates the dosage and safety guidelines provided, to administer our product to minors, animals, or any person without their informed consent, to make false or misleading health claims about our product in any public forum, review, or social media post, or to use our brand name, logo, or images for any purpose without written permission.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, and terminate accounts of anyone who violates these prohibited use provisions.

This includes but is not limited to our brand name “Himalayan Giant,” our logo and visual brand elements, all text, copy, and written content on our website, all photographs and images, page designs and layout, product descriptions and marketing materials, the Safety Guide content, and all other original content created by or for Himalayan Giant.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, or sell any content from our website without our prior written permission.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to your use of our website or purchase of our products shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought — whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.

Dispute Resolution
We believe most disputes can be resolved through honest communication. If you have a complaint or dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at info@himalayangiant.com. We will make a genuine effort to resolve the issue fairly and promptly.
Informal Resolution — Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will respond within 14 days and work with you in good faith toward a resolution. Many disputes can be resolved with a simple conversation.
Formal Dispute Resolution — If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, either party may pursue formal resolution. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the arbitration rules of the Nepal Council of Arbitration, or through the courts as specified in Section 21 below.
Class Action Waiver — To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
Any disputes arising from these terms that cannot be resolved through arbitration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer under applicable local law that cannot be waived or limited by agreement.
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you retain your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which are not affected by these terms.
If you are a consumer in Australia, nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these terms.
The invalidity of any single provision does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. All other provisions continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Safety Guide, Returns and Refund Policy, and Shipping and Delivery page, constitute the entire agreement between you and Himalayan Giant regarding your use of our website and purchase of our products.
These terms supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations — whether written or oral — relating to the subject matter of these terms.
No waiver of any provision of these terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that provision or any other provision. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
